Merlin is probably the most energy-efficient data centre in the world. Using a wholly modular system of which it is the first example, its modules were constructed and installed in just 22 weeks and it can double its capacity in 12. This means that Merlin is saving 3,950 tonnes CO2 emissions per year, at its current capacity.

Grand Mosque
The project – Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Mosque, or Grand Mosque – comprises a main prayer hall “Haram” for 7000 worshipers and main entrance flanked by a double-storey gallery and ancillary conditioned prayer areas with wind towers over. Main domes over the Haram reach a height of 75 metres.
